  1. Always wear a wristwatch

You might think that wearing a wristwatch is only for the outdoors, especially that every home has a wall clock in the living room. However, we are not in the living room all the time, and thus, there are times in the day wherein we will miss out on our schedules because we forget to look for the time. Yes, our cell phones also have time on it but keep in mind that the moment you pick up your phone to look for the time at the moment, there is also a huge tendency that you will become distracted, whether from a message from a friend, a notification on your social media accounts, and so much more!

Besides, wearing a wristwatch even in your bedroom will make you more anxious about the time that has been wasted when you are just laying on your bed. This is the trick of all time! Wear a wristwatch whenever you go! You may look for Tudor watches when you want to purchase them if you do not have one at the moment. They are offering high-quality ones at an affordable price. Remember that time is gold and makes sure to pick a wristwatch with the same value and can offer you the most accuracy.

  1. Print out all your reading materials

Though it might sound like a waste of paper, printing out all the documents that you will be needing to accomplish your work is a great start for the day. Reading is a lot more fun if it is printed on a piece of paper. Unlike reading on your computer, laptops, or cellphones, your eyes will not hurt so much if you read a hard copy of it. This is also a great way to avoid eye strain. Not to mention that having an eye strain sucks because it will automatically drain out your energy to continue your tasks. Most likely, you will end up sleeping. Besides, you can use scratch papers to print out your reading materials. So you choose, print those out or waste your time and energy?

  1. Drink a glass of water every hour.

Believe it or not, one of the reasons why we sometimes feel out of energy and motivation to continue working is just because we are dehydrated. Drinking water will enhance our mood, and doing it in an hour interval will make sure that we have enough to feel hydrated and ready to do more tasks. Even though you want to be productive, it does not necessarily mean that you will avoid giving some time to drink. If you do so, it will just be counterproductive. So be consistent in drinking a glass of water every hour, and the rest will surely follow according to your wants.

  1. Have a morning walk to start your day.

Before you start working on your tons of tasks to accomplish within the day, it is a great idea to have a morning walk. A 2km-3km walk is enough to boost your energy. Besides, walking in the early morning with birds and calm weather and scenery will surely give you the motivation you need. If you don’t know, it might be the boredom and separation anxiety that is making you feel drained and burned out. Trust us, give yourself a 30-minute walk in the morning, and the rest of the day will go the way you want it to be. You will instantly feel like your energy has been filled up with optimism and willingness if that’s what has been lacking in you!

  1. Catch up with your friends.

Once in a while, try to have small talk with your friends. You never know, might as well he or she has something to tell you that will instantly make you feel motivated. Besides, you need to pause every 30 minutes and give yourself a 5-minute break. This is a great time to relax without wasting so much time on leisure. Just make sure that you set your alarm exactly for 5 minutes to remind you that your break time is over. After that 5 minutes, do not ever attempt to extend your break because it will just cause you trouble. There is a tendency that you will not be aware that you have already wasted a lot of your time.

In a Nutshell

And as a result, we somehow make it a habit to settle with the least that we can do within the day. Thus, we became a bit unproductive. But to tell you, that is not a great habit. Start doing the tips and tricks that we have listed for you. Always wear a wristwatch, print your reading materials, drink a glass of water every hour, have a morning walk, and lastly, catch up with your friends! Good luck and have a productive week!
